EO Presents... The Playlist - Week 1

Nothing gets The Octopus more excited than the prospect of a dirty night out. Perfect for pre drinks, parties, or just sitting getting wasted on your own, here are 15 carefully curated, massive tracks to get your Saturday night started right.

Welcome to a brand new feature for EO! We wanted to launch this one a bit earlier, but I got held up with the magnificent artwork you see before you. Anyway, it's here now, and it's ready to rock your weekend. To find out more, and to hear this week's party playlist, go below.

On The Playlist, there really aren't any criteria. Well, other than that it has to be electronic, obviously. We'll usually pick a few things that we've featured on the blog recently, as well as a few recent tracks that we haven't, and we'll throw in some oldies for good measure.

Basically, if it's a banger, it's in. If it's going to set your night off, it's in. Here's this week's instalment of The Playlist - you can find out a little bit about the tracks selected below.

Arty - Up All Night: This one came out just before we started up the blog, but it's an absolutely cracking tune with a superb vocal from Angel Taylor.
Autograf - One (Cover): We featured this last week. Autograf have crafted an awesome cover of Swedish House Mafia's One that's perfect for summer.
Duck Sauce - NRG: It's Duck Sauce's latest single, and it's just as fun and well crafted as you'd expect.
DJ Fresh - Flashlight (Feat. Ellie Goulding): It's not out yet, but DJ Fresh has put a fresh twist on his collaboration with Ellie Goulding from her most recent album.
Netsky - Give & Take: An absolute classic from 2, it always goes off live, and now it'll go off in your house.
Wolfgang Gartner - Love & War: It may be a year or so old, but it's one of his best recent tracks.
Zedd - Slam The Door: It's fun, and it hits hard. Remember when Zedd used to be this good?
Tommy Trash - Lord Of The Trance: This didn't quite make it to the blog, but Tommy delivers a massive and inventive tune.
Feed Me - Trapdoor (Feat. Hadouken!): An absolute banger from Escape From Electric Mountain, one of Feed Me's best EPs.
Pegboard Nerds & Tristam - Razor Sharp: It's got the melodies of Pegboard Nerds, and the craziness of Tristam. What more could you ask for?
Syn Cole - Miami 82 (Avicii Edit): Avicii puts his spin on Syn Cole's breakout tune, Miami 82.
Rudimental - Waiting All Night (Patrick Hagenaar Remix): Patrick creates an absolute banger from Rudimental's Waiting All Night.
Cazzette - Sleepless (Steve James Remix): Steve James does it again, turning Cazzette's original House track into a club banger.
Knife Party - Begin Again: Ripped from their set at EDC, this could be one of the highlights of their debut album.
I See Monstas - Circles: A real feel good one to finish, featured on the blog and named our highlight of the week, Circles is a massive track.

Enjoy this week's instalment, and enjoy your Bank Holiday Weekend! See you back here next week where we'll have another set of bangers for you.
