Version 2.3 - Release Date: 23/4/15 - CURRENT VERSION
This release brings numerous improvements, changes and fixes to the site:
• Completed updating the format of all old articles to appear correctly in the new site.
• New hi-res search icon in Nav Bar.
• Reverted a change in 2.2.1 that removed the 'Showing pages with label...' box from the top of the Music, News and Free Downloads page. This has been reinstated as a workaround for the lack of a title header for each page. The box has been redesigned and resized to better match the site.
• Linked to the above, several major tags have been changed to be correctly capitalised. As tags are case-sensitive, this makes old links to those tabs unusable.
• Lightbox design has changed slightly, allowing images to scale better, and introducing a new, hi-res close button that is positioned better.
• FIXED: An issue where webpage titles for a section would not be capitalised and displayed correctly beyond the first page (i.e. would be broken on next page after clicking 'Next').
• FIXED: An issue where too many posts would be listed on the first page of a section or category, leading them to being duplicated on the following page.
• FIXED: An issue where the Video Pick Youtube video would be larger than its container.
• FIXED: Nav menu on smallest sized device is now centred correctly.
• FIXED: Content on smallest mobile device is now centred correctly.
• FIXED: An issue where the persistent nav-bar would cover part of an image in the lightbox, as well as the close button.
• KNOWN ISSUE: Lightbox does not scale properly on smaller devices
Version 2.2.2 - Release Date: 17/4/15
• FIXED: 'Indie Dance' link under 'Genres' now works correctly.
Version 2.2.1 - Release Date: 9/4/15
Small update with a couple of further improvements over v2.2:
• Webpage titles are now consistent across the site, and are capitalised and displayed correctly.
• The clunky 'Showing posts with label...' box has been removed from the top of the News, Music, and Free Downloads pages.
Version 2.2.1 includes all of the changes from 2.2. This update sees Blogger's 'stock' mobile site being deactivated. All devices will now point directly to the vastly improved main, responsive site. This is a big update bringing many improvements and fixes, including:
• NEW: Twitter feed added to sidebar.
• NEW: Facebook and Twitter feeds are replaced with smaller buttons on smaller devices.
• NEW: Redesigned 'Genres' page.
• NEW: Redesigned 'Features' page.
• NEW: Added new genre category to site: 'Future Bass'.
• Responsive design greatly improved.
• Layout on mobile far better.
• Social links added above header and at bottom of page on smaller devices.
• Smaller devices now have their own dedicated search function - this can be accessed in the 'sidebar' (below page content).
• Sidebar layout has been optimised, particularly for smaller devices.
• Removed small article blurbs from 'Popular Posts' on mobile devices to make better use of space.
• Adverts are now responsive.
• Some adverts removed on mobile devices.
• FIXED: Header size fixed on smaller devices.
• FIXED: Embedded YouTube videos are now adaptive in sizing, eliminating layout problems.
• FIXED: Logo size in header is now correct on all devices.
• FIXED: Adverts now display correctly on smaller devices.
• KNOWN ISSUE: Adverts do not scale 'on the fly' (except on mobile devices).
• KNOWN ISSUE: Extremely rare bug in Firefox, where changing the window size to the narrowest size possible will cause the first letter of every post title to disappear.
• KNOWN ISSUE: Top portion of thumbnails on homepage do not work as links (proving difficult to fix...).
