Knife Party: Abandon Ship - Release date and artwork revealed

The wait is over! ...Almost. Knife Party have finally announced when we can get our grubby little hands on their debut album, Abandon Ship, and there's only about two months left to wait, as the release date has been set as 27th October. See the artwork in full and read a little more down there.

Yep, 27th October will see Knife Party's first proper album drop. We think it's set to contain roughly 13 tracks, though the guys have said that that could change. We've also heard a fair few tracks that are probably going to be on there: there's Boss Mode, which was teased by Rob on his SoundCloud a few weeks ago, there's the four tracks that debuted during their epic set at EDC Las Vegas, and then there's Micropenis, which was played at Tomorrowland (who knows if that was actually a real thing or a joke, though).

On top of all that, the duo will be releasing a single on Monday (25 August) called Resistance, for free. It's definitely an exciting time to be a Knife Party fan. Get another look at the album artwork below - to be honest, we wish they'd gone with this one they posted to Twitter:

Or, this subsequent one based on it that was created by a fan:
